Co-Director of Centre for Consumption Studies launches new book

David Marshall, Co-Director of Centre for Consumption Studies, has launched a new book. Marshall, who is Professor of Marketing and Consumer Behaviour at the University of Edinburgh Business School, edits the book titled ‘Understanding Children as Consumers’.

The book, which is published by Sage, comprises 14 original chapters from leading researchers in the field, with each chapter containing vignettes or case examples to reinforce learning. The book also contains consideration of future research directions in each of the topics that the chapters cover.

The Centre for Consumption Studies (CCS) is research cluster of people interested in how people consume identity, such as visual culture via the creative arts, digital education and more broadly how we consume within consumer culture.


CCS provides resources for you as academics, students, government, research councils, NGOs, businesses and/or a person interested in consumption.
CCS is co-directed by DCU Business School,
University of Exeter School of Business and Economics, and University of Edinburgh Business School.
