DCUBS Research Scholars Share Theories at Doctoral Colloquium

13th November 2009

A doctoral colloquium hosted by DCU Business School today highlighted the impressive quality and range of research being undertaken by the School's active community of research scholars.

The aim of the colloquium was to give
doctoral students the opportunity to discuss their work-in-progress with a view to obtaining constructive feedback from their peers and senior academics that will enhance their research.

Poster displays and open discussion sessions
facilitated by DCUBS faculty enabled participants to receive feedback and suggestions from their peers and experts in their chosen field of research.

Students from all DCUBS disciplines participated in the colloquium, which was held in an open and collaborative atmosphere.

The research community at DCUBS continues to go from strength to strength. The School offers two postgraduate programmes, the Ph.D. programme (full-time or part-time) and the part-time Professional Doctoral Programme.

The School is currently expanding the number of full-time PhD students and seeks exceptional candidates for its generous scholarships. The supports offered to DCUBS research scholars are unrivalled in Ireland.
