DCUBS to launch new BSc in Aviation Management /
BSc in Aviation Management with Pilot Studies

DCU Business School is to launch Ireland's first aviation management degree.

The ground-breaking BSc in Aviation Management / BSc in Aviation Management with Pilot Studies will offer distinct choice for those wishing to train as commercial pilots or to pursue fast-paced management careers in the dynamic world of aviation.


Delivered over four years full-time, this Bachelor Honours Degree will enable students to learn about the business and technical aspects of aviation. Participants will undertake a valuable aviation industry placement and will benefit from the opportunity to qualify as an airline pilot.
 

Students will elect to pursue one of two final year specialisms: Aviation Management (leading to the award of the BSc in Aviation Management) or Pilot Studies (leading to the BSc in Aviation Management with Pilot Studies).
 

The first intake of students to the programme will be in September 2010. The CAO course code is DC117.
