Sean Byrne's doctoral thesis was entitled 'Antecedents, characteristics, and consequences associated with the roles of management accountants, and assisting managers in their roles'. Sean undertook his research under the supervision of Professor Bernard Pierce, Dean of DCU Business School.

Thadeus Mkamwa's doctoral thesis was entitled 'The impact of high performance work systems in Irish companies: an examination of company and employee outcomes'. Thadeus undertook his research under the joint supervision of Professor Patrick Flood and Dr. Edel Conway of DCU Business School.
