Academic biography

Alessandro Palandri is a Lecturer in Finance at DCU Business School of Dublin City University since 2015.

He completed his PhD in Economics at Duke University in 2006 after graduating in Economics with honours from the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 2001. Alessandro has held the positions of Assistant Professor in Economics at the Economics Department of the University of Copenhagen from 2006 to 2009 and Assistant Professor of Finance at Warwick Business School of the University of Warwick from 2009 to 2015.

Alessandro’s research interests lie in Econometrics, Financial Econometrics and Asset Pricing. 

Alessandro has taught a variety of courses at all levels:

UG: Advanced Microeconomics (Duke U), Econometrics III (U Copenhagen), Foundations of Financial Management (WBS), International Finance (DCUBS)

MSc: Quantitative Financial Ecnomics (U Copenhagen), Empirical Finance (WBS), Risk Management and Modelling (DCUBS)

My research interests lie in Econometrics, Financial Econometrics and Asset Pricing.
