DCUBS Students through to Finals of Accenture 'Leaders of Tomorrow' Award

9th February 2010

The outstanding performances of DCU Business School students in the Accenture 'Leaders of Tomorrow' Award continue. For the third consecutive year, DCUBS will be represented in the national finals of the competition.

A team of students on the MSc in Electronic Commerce programme last year scooped the award. This year's finalists will be looking to emulate their success and to retain the title for DCUBS.

This year two teams have been selected for the final round. They are:

The Accenture Leaders of Tomorrow Award, open to third-level graduates across the country, seeks to recognise, identify and foster the next generation of talent that will help in shaping the public, private and social landscape of Ireland in the coming years.

Participants in the Accenture Leaders of Tomorrow 2010 will have the chance to demonstrate and develop their leadership skills through three rounds of competition against the best and brightest of their peers.

The successful finalists will take part in a series of leadership development days and ultimately will present to and be assessed by a panel of Irish business leaders.

The overall winners will take part in the Accenture Leadership Experience Tour to New York City followed by a Leadership Development Internship in Accenture Ireland.
