I am a Lecturer in Political Science at the School of Law and Government, Dublin City University, Ireland.

RESEARCH

My main research area is in executive politics and particularly power within and of parliamentary executives. I am also interested in most areas of Irish politics, particularly Irish executive, electoral and party politics.

I am starting research on the political causes and reaction to the crisis in Europe.

TEACHING

I teach courses on comparative and Irish politics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
