How you got involved in the sport

I started at a young age of 12 after going up a local hill on my bike and loving it. My dad has always been into motorbikes so we both got hooked immeditaly and started travelling Ireland competing quite early on. Before I knew it I was travelling the word doing it!

Favourite method of recovery

A nice cold ice bath

Future up and coming star in your sport

Jacob Dickson, a young lad from the north of Ireland

Favourite venue

Fort William in Scotland.

Best sports advice you have received

"If you ain't first, your're last!"

Biggest challenge you have overcome in sport

Probably coming back from some serious injuries, often mid season. Hard to remain confident and keep up any sort of fitness when you're sitting on the couch and everyone else is out competing.

Pre-competition rituals/superstitions

No superstitions, just focus on a solid warm up and visualise the track in my head before hand.

Something we don't know about you

I'm afraid of heights!
