Salamanca University and Dublin City University sign Research and Innovation agreement

Dublin City University has signed a new Memorandum of Understanding in the areas of Research and Innovation with Salamanca University which aims to increase the success in International Research and Innovation projects, with the by strengthening and expanding their mutual relations. The University of Salamanca has been a focal point of culture and learning since its founding in 1218. The institution has developed a number of prestigious projects and research centres in the following areas (1) Information and Communications Technology, (2)  Biotechnology, healthcare and pharmaceuticals; (3) Manufacturing competitiveness, and (4) Innovation in Services and business processes. They also attract a significant number of enterprises through their new Scientific Park which has facilitated researchers contributions to the fields of Biomedical and Cancer Research, Neuroscience, Functional Biology and Genomics, Agriculture, Water Research and Technological Development, Artificial intelligence, Smart cities, Art and Animation Technologies, e-Health, Green Energy, Pulsed Lasers, and Nanotechnology.
