Standard Terms and Conditions - Offers of Postgraduate Study at DCU
- All offers are subject to the applicant meeting the minimum entry requirements for the programme and/or the approval of Academic Council as appropriate
- The university reserves the right, where deemed necessary, to request the presentation of original documentation evidencing previous qualifications and studies at the time of registration at DCU. Where such a request is made and this information is not presented at registration you will not be allowed to register for your programme.
- The university will require the presentation of original documentation evidencing nationality and fee status at registration regardless of the presentation of such detail as part of the application process. Applicants who cannot provide such evidence at registration will not be allowed to register for a programme until this detail is presented.
- All offers are subject to payment of a deposit towards the cost of the programme or the full programme fee as applicable. The university reserves the right to withdraw an offer of a place and cancel an application in circumstances where the appropriate fee payment has not been received on time.
- Notwithstanding the offer made, the university reserves the right to cancel a programme of study at any time where there is insufficient intake onto a programme. In such circumstances, applicants will be notified that the course is to be cancelled and the university will organise a refund of payments made towards the cost of the programme. The university accepts no responsibility for any other financial loss caused as a result of the cancellation of a programme.
