DCU mark Spaceweek 2017 with public lecture
As part of Spaceweek 2017, the School of Mathematical Sciences are hosting a public lecture on Tuesday evening, October 3rd on "Gravity" with scientists from the Centre for Astrophysics and Relativity exploring all things space related.
In the series of talks, commening at 6.30pm, lecturers will discuss the most recent developments and discoveries including the latest Exoplanet detections, the origins of black holes, breakthroughs in gravitional wave detection and a talk on the meaning of space itself.
The presentations are also suitable for a younger audience, with the first particularly suitable for children under the age of 10.
