EY open new Social Hub in DCU Business School

The official opening of the DCUBS - EY Social Hub took place on Wednesday 5th April. DCU Business School was delighted to welcome Dermot Daly, EY Partner and Recruitment Sponsor, and the wider EY recruitment team, to mark the occassion by cutting the (appropriately coloured) yellow ribbon!

EY recently assisted in the transformation of the ground floor seating area of DCU Business School, providing a space which allows the School to interact with students in a more innovative way. The EY Social Hub will also allow EY to engage with students outside of recruitment fairs and other on-campus events and ultimately strengethen the relationsship with DCU, in particular with the Business School.

Caroline McAniff, Head of Recruitment at EY, said: "I’m really excited to see the DCU Business School EY Social Hub finished and the students enjoying it. It provides them with a great space to group study, share information or just hang out. The new interactive Digital Screen also allows the Business School communicate with their students in a much more innovative way.  I’m looking forward to seeing the space get lots of use in the years to come."

Ursula Baxter, DCU Business School, Manager of Faculty Administration added: "The new DCU/EY Social Hub has been perfectly tailored for the students requirements and is a welcome addition to the Business School."

Professor Anne Sinnott, DCU Business School, Executive Dean, said: "I am very pleased that this project has come to fruition, creating a new informative and social platform for students and visitors alike. DCU Business School prides itself on its impact on students and industry, focusing not only on knowledge acquisition but also on enhancing and developing professional and personal skills to develop the highly innovative managers of tomorrow."
