DCU ranked in top 250 universities globally in Arts and Humanities

DCU has been ranked in the top 250 universities in the world in the area of Arts and Humanities by Times Higher Education, one of the most widely recognised third level ranking bodies.

The ranking has been welcomed by DCU’s Executive Dean of Humanities & Social Sciences, Professor John Doyle,

“Last year’s Incorporation process has resulted in an enhanced and distinctive Humanities and Social Sciences offering at DCU. This very welcome ranking reflects the choice and diversity which has students voting with their feet, making DCU the fastest growing university in the country.

Alongside our longstanding reputation in Communications, Journalism and International Relations, this recognition reflects the growing popularity of new subject blends on offer at DCU, which marry more traditional humanities areas, such as English Literature, History and Languages, with modern disciplines like Media Studies and International Relations.”
