Come to DCU Jobs Fair

The DCU Accounting, Finance & Law Jobs Fair, which will take place in The Helix on Thursday 3rd October, promises to the biggest and best yet, with more than 1000 jobs on offer to DCU students and recent graduates.

Forty companies, ranging from The Big 4 (Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PwC) to multinationals and Irish SMEs, are seeking to employ more than 1000 graduates across the full range of disciplines – Accounting & Finance, Business, Law, Maths, Technology, Engineering and Science.  This is the perfect opportunity to meet with potential employers, find out about the graduate career opportunities they offer, what they are looking for in an employee and get invaluable advice on submitting an application.

Yvonne McLoughlin, DCU Head of Careers, encourages students to drop into the event which runs from 1:00pm to 3:30pm,

“I would encourage DCU students to hit the ground running in their final year by attending the Accounting, Finance & Law Jobs Fair.  Over 1000 real career opportunities in this sector are on offer to graduates from a range of disciplines.  Come along to find out what is on offer – your potential employer is keen to answer any questions you might have!”

The Jobs Fair is organised by DCU Careers Service which helps students translate their skills, attributes, experiences and learning into the job marketplace.  Some of the services they offer include careers advice; employer recruitment presentations; career fairs; skills sessions such as job search strategies, career decision-making, interview and CV techniques, CV clinics and mock interviews; and online resources such as psychometric testing.
