DCU VIP Fresher Revealed
A Drogheda student has been unveiled as DCU’s VIP Fresher for 2013. Nadine Faughey West, who is beginning her first year on the BA Global Business (USA) programme at DCU this week, will enjoy a DCU VIP Fresher experience for a full academic year. The package fit for a VIP includes:
- free accommodation
- tickets to all Students’ Unions events
- gym membership
- Domino’s pizza
- a DCU Spar gift card
- on-campus catering vouchers
- car-parking
- hairdressing treatments
- and a VIP voucher for The Helix.
Nadine, a former student of St Oliver’s Community College, Drogheda clinched the prize by entering the most original video explaining why she deserved to become DCU’s VIP Fresher for 2013. Reacting to news of her win, Nadine said,
“My first year in DCU will be even more enjoyable and both my academic and social life will thrive thanks to this amazing opportunity DCU has given me. Thank you DCU and the sponsors for helping me out so much in my first year at College.”
Nadine will join more 2 500 other students embarking on their new life on campus this week.
Any students applying to CAO this year will have the opportunity to apply for the 2014 VIP Fresher Package.
