Eurachem 2012 Winners

Congratulations to Nicola McConnell and Barry Reid, both Year II Analytical Science Students, who won 1st Place at the Eurachem 2012 Competition, representing DCU School of Chemical Sciences.

These students were selected from a large number of students within the School who were keen to participate. Eurachem is an annual competition aimed at all undergraduate students in the second year of their Science programme. The competition tests the students abilities and knowledge in analytical skills and techniques. This year the competition was hosted by GMIT and 22 teams participated from 11 colleges around the country.

Well done to Natasha McStay and Alex Panov who were the second team to represent DCU at this event.
