Having a good grasp of The Microsoft Office Suite will be of great value to any University Student. Campus.ie offer free short training sessions on campus. You can apply for these online via the link below. We highly recommend this for any incoming students.
Google Docs
You should be aware that you can also use Google Docs, which is part of the DCU Apps suite and freely available to any student. By using this your documents/spreadsheets etc are stored in the cloud and can be accessed from anywhere and shared with people.
