Pay Dates & Deadlines

Pay Dates for DCU Staff:

Please note that the weekly pay option is no longer open to new or rejoining staff.

Monthly Full Time and Fixed Hours Staff:
Pay date 28th of each month or the nearest working day (i.e. if Saturday pay day is Friday and if Sunday the pay day is Monday) for the full calendar month.

Current Weekly Paid Staff:
Friday of each week for the previous week, Monday to Friday.

Casual Part-Time Staff:
Pay date the last working day of each month or the nearest working day (i.e. if Saturday pay day is Friday and if Sunday the pay day is Monday).

Pay Dates for DCU Commercial Ltd:

Monthly Full Time and Part Time Staff: Pay date is the last Monday of the month 

Current Weekly Paid Staff:
Friday of each week for the previous week, (Helix Casual Staff-2 weeks in arrears)

Pay Dates for DCU Educational Trust:

Monthly Full Time and Part Time Staff: Pay Date is the last Monday of the Month

Payroll Deadlines for DCU, DCU Commercial Ltd & DCU Educational Trust:

Monthly Full Time and Fixed Hours Staff:

15th of the month which the payment or adjustment has to be processed. If the 15th falls on a Saturday or Sunday details should be in the payroll office by close of business the preceding Friday.

Current Weekly Paid Staff:
Monday by 5.00pm of the week that payment or adjustment has to be processed. In the week preceding a public holiday the deadline is close of business the preceding Friday.

Casual Part-Time Staff:
15th of the month which the payment or adjustment has to be processed. If the 15th falls on a Saturday or Sunday details should be in the payroll office by the close of business the preceding Friday.

Please note that it is imperative that claims are made on a monthly basis to ensure that the payment is processed in the correct financial and tax year. Thus ensuring that the funds are available to meet the payment and that the Tax and PRSI are allocated to the correct tax year, keeping the employees records accurate at all times.  The Payroll Office are not in a position to issue Salary Advances as we have to adhere to strict Bank Deadlines therefore its important that employees meet the above deadlines in order to receive their payments on time.
