Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction - a 4 Week Lunch Time Series

Mindfulness practice has shown itself to be effective in a number of areas, for example: Concentration, Motivation, Productivity, Stress, Anxiety, Personal Well-Being etc.
This 4 week programme introduces the central principals and practices of this approach and aims to increase your awareness, knowing that the more tuned in you are to yourself and the world, the wiser your choices, decisions and actions will be.
Location: DCU Glasnevin Campus - Henry Grattan Building, Ground Floor, Room CG12
Week 1 Learn how to Live more in the Present Wednesday 15th February '17
Week 2 Learn how to be with Worry and Challenging Emotions Wednesday 22nd February '17
Week 3 Learn how to Respond rather than React to Stress Wednesday 1st March '17
Week 4 Learn Self-Care, a core resource to Resilience Wednesday 8th March '17
Open to : ALL DCU STUDENTS & STAFF
Time: All sessions in this series will take place from 1.00pm – 2.00pm
Admission: Is free and there is no need to pre register. Simply turn up a few minutes before 1pm.
For a richer learning experience: Attend all 4 sessions, each session builds on the previous one.
A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants who attend all 4 sessions.
