Academic biography
Stephen Blott has a BSc in Computing Science from Glasgow University, Scotland, and a PhD from the same institution.
He has worked as a Senior Research Associate at ETH in Zurich, Switzerland, and as PI at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ, USA.
Since late 2022 he has been an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at Dublin City University.
In recent years, his interest has mainly been focused on Linux/Unix systems and educational technologies for teaching computer science.

Research interests
Unix/Linux, computer networks, container technologies, DevOps, educational tools for computer science.
