 Week 1

12th July, Wednesday, 10.00—11.30: Social Psychology—Introduction
What makes us think, feel and behave in certain ways? Group behaviours, famous experiments

13th July, Thursday, 10.00—12.00: Public Speaking—Take the Terror Out of the Talk
Effective public speaking and presentations, tips for speaking in public with confidence
Facilitator: Elaine Metcalfe, Adult Educator and Public Speaking Coach
14th July, Friday, 10.00—12.00: Poster Perfect: Fun and Easy Ways to Publicise with DYI Posters (iMac)
Fun session on creative digital media—from brainstorming, through editing photos, sketching poster designs,
composing text to finishing the poster with Inkscape

21st July, Friday, 10.00 – 11.00: Mediation Skills in the Workplace
Interactive session to introduce you to resolving workplace challenges through negotiation and facilitation
