The School of Communications is currently home to almost 40 postgraduate research students at different stages of their studies at both MA/MPhil and PhD levels.
We offer a structured research programme with access to appropriate taught modules alongside supervision of a major piece of independent scholarly research.
Our staff support students in research projects in all aspects of the place of media, communications and journalism in society. Students also have access to workspace and IT facilities.
Please note all graduate research applications are processed online via the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC). Potential applicants are advised to first consult DCU’s Postgraduate Research page.
A limited number of research scholarships are offered annually by the School - information is generally posted in the first half of the year on the School’s Twitter account.
