IMAGINE -BSC. in Multimedia, DCU

The final year students of the BSc. in Multimedia in the School of communications in DCU launched their end of year showcase on May 12th. Parents, friends and top industry specialist were invited to view and interact with the wide range of ideas which are all original works, ranging from film to interactive installations, interactive websites, iPad apps, live-action animations, graphic design and games.

Dr. Miriam Judge opened the event by congratulating the students on all their innovation, hard work and dedication over the academic year. She commended the students on their successes which included shortlisting in film competitions and being awarded funding from UStart, DCU’s student entrepreneur startup competition.

The show ran at the Morrison Hotel on Ormond Quay, and was launched on the 12th of May. The assembled crowd then had lots of time to interact all the installations on show before the close, with invited industry guests, parents and staff remarking how successful the students were in bringing their ideas to life at such a highly polished and professional way.
